LOW VOLUME FUME CUPBOARD

The Clean Air Low Volume Fume Cupboard is the most recent addition to our range. The creation of the Fume Cupboard was driven by the design requirement to reduce the loss of heated or conditioned air and improve energy efficiency. The Fume Cupboard has been independently type tested and SF6 containment tested.

The results confirm the Fume Cupboard has excellent containment of fumes with a range of face velocities from 0.55m/s down to 0.21m/s with a sash opening of 500mm. We recommend use at 0.30m/s face velocity, as this is more economical - using less energy whilst still surpassing all safety standards.
