Ian Heatherington

Ian has over 42 years’ of experience in the fume cupboard and fume extract sector and is a highly respected member of the industry. He has been with Clean Air, a market leader in fume extraction, since 2000 and became a director in 2001.

Ian has hands-on experience in the assembly and installation of fume cupboards and ductwork, in addition to design, operations and sales. He leads the sales team and specialises in the technical requirements of extract systems and custom fume cupboard designs for specific applications.

He has been a member of the British Standards Committee for Fume Cupboards (LB/001/01) since 2014, advising on the BS EN 14175 Standards for Fume Cupboards.
