Richard Shanks

Richard joined Clean Air in 2012, becoming finance director in 2015. He has a BA (Hons) in Accounting & Business Finance from Manchester University.

Richard has decades of expertise in accounting, having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1978. He started his career in general practice, followed by senior finance roles in a range of industries including early-stage drug discovery organisations.

Richard is an experienced, principled, and tenacious accountant with an eye for detail and an up-to-the-minute knowledge of accounting regulations.
