We are working hard to deliver environmentally friendly solutions which create safer and more efficient laboratory environments. That’s why our CPD programs focus on topics such as Variable Air Volume (VAV) systems, auto sash technology, and low-volume airflow.
Fume cupboards are important pieces of laboratory safety equipment, but they are also among the most energy-hungry pieces of kit in a lab. Not because they use a lot of energy—they actually use very little. However, they pull conditioned air from the lab and discharge it outside the building. This heated or cooled air must be replaced, and this is where the energy costs are generated.
Our CPD modules are designed and delivered by our in-house R&D Manager, Dr Andrew Manning. They are suitable for professionals responsible for the design, operation, or maintenance of fume cupboards, such as building managers, engineers, architects, or lab users. They can be delivered in person or online and will ensure attendees have the up-to-date knowledge necessary to use, design, or specify more sustainable fume cupboards.
Each of our CPD training modules can contribute one hour of annual CPD requirements.
