17 March 2020 – With the concerns surrounding the current outbreak we want to assure you about the Clean Air response to COVID-19.
We have robust business continuity plans that can evolve as official advice changes. We have a responsibility to safely maintain production because our fume cupboards are in the front line of research into COVID 19. At least one global bio-medical company searching for a cure for the virus is relying on our products.
The situation is challenging for all businesses, regardless of size or sector. We are monitoring the situation closely whilst following government guidance.
The health, safety and wellbeing of our clients and our own employees is of the utmost importance to us, just as we know it is to you.
However, we understand the importance of having a sense of ‘normality’ throughout the COVID-19 outbreak.
We are taking all the necessary precautions to ensure our clients and employees stay safe and healthy throughout. Communication is a key part of limiting transmission. We are regularly communicating with our own staff in the field. They, and we, are maintaining high standards of hygiene and professionalism. They are aware of the need to notify us should they exhibit symptoms of COVID-19.
In the unlikely event that one of our staff becomes ill after visiting you, we will ensure you get that information as quickly as is possible. Equally if you or your employees have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or are suffering from any similar symptoms and we are due to visit your site or have visited recently, we ask you to as soon as possible.
In such a fast-moving environment the Clean Air response to COVID-19 will continue to adapt. We will keep you updated should there be any significant changes.
