We reengineered our Standard fume cupboard from the ground up. The Discovery represents a new generation of fume cupboard, designed using advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics to optimise airflow and enhance containment.
Our previous model served laboratories reliably for many years, but with state-of-the-art modelling tools and our hallmark Clean Air curved inlets, we’ve been able to take performance further. Yes, the Discovery offers a choice of cast epoxy or Trespa® TopLab® PLUS, so you can select the best surface for your specific application and chemical resistance requirements.
The Discovery features an operational sash height of 500mm, providing excellent usability. Always remember to close the sash while not working at the chamber to reduce energy consumption and overall running costs.
The Discovery can be customised with a range of up to 10 optional services, including water, gas, and vacuum, etc, giving you the flexibility to configure it to your lab’s specific needs.
Yes, the Discovery has a VAV package available. It includes an upgraded TEL AFA 1000/2 control panel, a VAV blanking panel, and the ECON damper. The AFA 1000/2 can link in with both BACnet and Modbus for your BMS systems.
