Description

The semi-mobile ducted fume cupboard offers operator and observer safety, and 360° visibility. It combines the benefits of ducted fume removal with the ability to be moved into positions suitable for practical demonstrations.

It can be easily stored away when not required. Glass panels to all four sides offer greater chamber visibility and a light, bright working area. The flexible ductwork, in conjunction with the docking station, allows the fume cupboard to be moved up to 1.5m away from its rigid ductwork.

The Clean Air semi-mobile ducted fume cupboard has been designed to comply with BS EN 14175 and CLEAPSS G9 Fume Cupboards in Schools.

Every Clean Air fume cupboard is supplied with a comprehensive range of standard features that are often optional extras elsewhere. When comparing products, it’s important to look beyond the headline price and consider exactly what’s included.

Docking Stations

Bench-Mounted & Wall-Mounted Models

Clean Air Docking Stations provide a safe, secure and convenient connection point for the SSR2000 Mobile Recirculation fume cabinet. Designed to supply essential laboratory services including electrical power, gas, and water, and drainage for the Bench Mounted units, the docking stations enable the fume cabinets to be safely and quickly connected and disconnected from the mains supplies.

By installing additional docking stations in multiple science labs, a single SSR2000 mobile fume cupboard allows each classroom or laboratory access to a fume cabinet as required. This offers a highly cost-effective alternative to installing dedicated fume cupboards in every room, helping schools maximise the value of their equipment investment while maintaining flexibility for practical teaching.

A switched electrical socket, quick-release gas coupling, and quick release water coupling, and a screw-thread waste connection on Bench Mounted units allow a rapid setup with minimal disruption, enabling the fume cabinet to be moved between laboratories and returned to service in minutes.

Please note: we do not install the docking station - you must source your own engineers to connect it to your services.

Delivery & Installation

We offer a mainland UK delivery and installation service, ensuring your fume cupboard is safely delivered directly to your classroom or laboratory and positioned where you need it.

Delivery costs are calculated based on your delivery zone. Simply enter your delivery address at checkout and the correct delivery and installation price will be automatically calculated. If you are not in mainland UK, contact us for a price.

Our experienced installation team will bring the unit into the classroom or laboratory, carefully unwrap it and remove all packaging and associated waste, leaving the area tidy and your fume cupboard positioned and ready to go.

If access to the installation area involves stairs, or if a lift is unavailable or too small to accommodate the unit, please let us know when placing your order. We can arrange for a stairwalker to be used where required to safely move the fume cupboard into position.

Our team regularly deliver and install fume cupboards in schools, colleges, universities and laboratories across the UK. Alongside their technical expertise, they provide a professional and considerate service, working closely with your staff on site to make the process as straightforward and disruption-free as possible.
